February 2010 - Mobile Information Unit

mobile information unitThe Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation provided HPCA with a $100,000 to purchase a special vehicle for counselling and education on prostate cancer. The large van is fitted with audio-visual equipment, counselling facilities, solar panels and a generator. The van will help us achieve our goal in significantly reducing the percentage of Hunter men who are affected by prostate cancer. We thank the generous support of the Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation, which has enabled us to provide this mobile facility to all parts of the Hunter and New England area.
