We are very excited to mark the beginning of a new relationship with Tomago Aluminium. In April representatives of Tomago Aluminium presented the HPCA with a cheque for $24,902.
As Tomago Aluminium has a large male dominated workforce over the age of 40, they nominated the Hunter Prostate Cancer Alliance to be the recipient of funds raised through the Employee out of Pay Scheme for 2009-2010.
In exchange for their generosity, the HPCA will initiate a prostate cancer awareness campaign with Tomago Aluminium and use the Mobile Information Unit donated by the Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation for on-site information and services.
The HPCA look forward to extending this relationship into the future, particularly during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month when the Tomago awareness campaign will be launched.
